If you’re decorating your living room, bedroom or bathroom and want a simple way to look like a professional designer, just remember the rule of three. This interior design tip will give your room designs a polished presence that will take it to the next level of sophistication.
The rule of three applies to many different things in design. It can be applied to color choices. You should have three colors represented in a room in order to make it look interesting without being cluttered. Your main color goes on your walls or in the carpet. Your secondary color can be used in furniture or large accent pieces. The accent color should “pop” and add interest to the room in the form of paintings, throws and decorating accessories.
